I traditionally refer to my first son as, “the boy” sometimes. He’s not a boy any more, but like many of the other names he has – it will probably stick for a long time.
So the boy posted about Pandora the other day, and I commented. Was I slightly sarcastic. Who. Moi?
The point is that media consumption has changed radically. I no longer take a printed paper – I buy the News Tribune’s digital service and read the “paper” every day on my iPad.
My kids and their friends watch very, very little “television” but binge-watch Netflix, Youtube and other online sources of video-based content.
So that challenge comes in counting all these views and media consumption – because after all, if we can’t count it – it doesn’t exist. Right?
Here’s a little commentary about measuring I did for CBS radio.
