Former Sonics broadcast Bob Blackburn died today. Lots of us remember his calls during the Sonic’s heyday. 
I also want to note the passing of Ron Forsell -which happened back in December. The story was in The Daily World (he was an Aberdeen native) and picked up recently in the daily Shoptalk email newsletter many TV newsies subscribe to.
Forsell was a sports guy at KIRO, but also the News Director for a while.
Both will be missed.
